A series of NHL Men’s Apparel graphics designed during my time at ‘47 Brand, a sports headwear and apparel company based outside of Boston.
Ubisoft and the developers of the video game Beyond Good & Evil 2 sought to collaborate with the community of HitRecord to create original artwork and music. This is a logo for the intergalactic pirate-radio station “Radio Cheeta” that I pitched for the developers.
A collection of logos designed for commercial clients during my time freelancing.
This project was an infographic comprised of personal data collected over a one week period. It focuses one of my music download binges with the help of a torrent program and plenty of unused hard drive space. The project offered the challenge of categorizing a large amount of data into multiple categories and reinterpreting it into an eye-catching graphic that successfully informs the viewer.
Fresh Face is a small essential oil company based around the idea of quality, simple ingredients and the belief that less is more. I was commissioned to create some of the branding for the company which included the full design of the labels for each product, info cards for each product and a business card.
The designs employed a hand drawn style with imagery of flowers and plants to drive home the natural qualities of the products and the small and personable size of the company itself. A simple color scheme made each bottle recognizable as a part of the overall brand but unique enough to distinguish between product types.
This project was to take a short story and design it from layout to physical construction. The story itself tells the tale of a man who becomes fascinated with the recent headline that a local elephant had mysteriously vanished overnight. The mysterious yet eerily vacant feel of the story inspired me to design a minimalistic design that calls to mind the dream-like quality of Murakami’s writing. A traditional type layout with generous use of white space allows the hand drawn illustrations printed on vellum paper to blend together. The book was bound by hand at a small size as it would be easy to pick up quickly read...or lose.
A series of posters created for a fictional lecture by cinematographer Victorio Storarro. The assignment called for the creation of two posters, one in English and the second in Italian, that worked together both individually and as a pair. Each poster uses simple iconography and complimentary colors to provide the viewer with the necessary information for the event and to convey the optical illusionary effects that come together to create cinematography.
This is series of posters based on obscure english words. The posters were created as a set that could work together or by themselves with the use of similiar typefaces, layout and imagery styles that effectively convey the words and their meanings.
This limited edition newspaper was created as a personal reaction to time spent at the Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary in Dartmouth, MA. It offers a look into the public space from the hauntingly beautiful trails to the open seaside expanses. Along with the personally created visual imagery influenced by old propaganda posters and digital photography taken at the sanctuary there is writing that educates and encourages readers on the volunteering possibilities within the park.
